stay gold...
back to school, for the last time. everyone has to be a grown-up soon. that being said we still do the same shit on the weekends, for now...
i'm happier back in the city. the following events all took place in the last two weeks, on different nights of course.

we like to relax most of the time, because it's so goddamn hot in our apartment in the summertime. we spend a lot of time trying to figure out sneaky ways to cool the place down. since there's no AC in the living room we strategically placed fans throughout the shared rooms, including an exhaust fan in the kitchen. sometimes me and shmanks like to make a vortex, too.

turns our bourbon st. isn't as much fun when you don't get 10 cups for one person. you could tell we were bored by the following pictures. namely taking pictures outside the bar rather then in the bar.

before i took this picture i said "just do this" while i performed this silly japanese pose. surprisingly they went for it.

on this particular thursday night, many senior citizens rode the bus up the west side late in the evening. im not sure why though.

one of these things is not like the other.
nick went with a classic chicken cutlet stuffed with bacon and mozzarella with cheese sauce while i opted for corn on the cob and a sweet potato. everything was real good though.
and this is a bunch of close up pictures. these are bottle caps stacked by shmanks because he is a control freak.

this is a beer 'cozie' that's nicks' (he loves deer). recently phil got us a whole collection, most of them are pretty funny. if you come over and have a can you could use one if you want.

i'm not sure what's happening here but i think this is around the time that we started to pay attention to the young people gathering around in the street in front of our apartment. apparently the morons next door to us think it's ok to have blow out parties all the time. word is they're getting evicted.

end 'o da ball game.
so far this semester is off to a good start. i started teaching last week so that will take up most of my time. it's been fun so far, hopefully it remains that way. hope you liked these pictures...
